Taogong Cave at the Daruo Rock
Situated at the Daruo Rock in Yongjia County, it is the earliest Taoist temple in Wenzhou in the recorded history. It is said Tao Hongjing lived in it and wrote the book “True Admonishments”.
Baogong Temple
Located at Xishan Road of Lucheng District, it houses the Wenzhou Taoist Association.
Jiangxin Temple
Situated on Jiangxin Islet and also called the Zhongchuan (Mid-River) Monastery, it is one of <st1:country-region w:st="on">China’s most famous Buddhist Temples open to the outside world.
Miaoguo Temple
Situated at the southern foot of the Songtai Hill in Lucheng District, it houses the Wenzhou Buddhist Association.
Catholic Church on Zhouzhaici Lane
Situated in Zhouzhaici Lane in Lucheng District, it is the oldest Gothic building in Wenzhou.
Christian Church on Chengxi Street
It is situated on Chengxi Street in Lucheng District where Wenzhou Patriotic Christian Association and Wenzhou Christian Council have been stationed since 1951.
